Partner: the management have signed with the employees an extension of the collective agreement in the company

Posted on Dec 15, 2021 by Ifi Reporter - Dan Bielski

The Histadrut, the committee of employees of the Partner Group and the management have signed an extension of the collective agreement in the company. The agreement, which will apply to approximately 2,700 workers, will be valid until the end of 2024. The agreement renews all the provisions of the current collective agreement that expires at the end of December, while preserving the rights and employment security of the workers.
Similar to the previous agreement, a budget will be allocated for wage increases that will amount to 3% in 2022 and will be distributed in accordance with agreed mechanisms between the parties. In addition, the mechanism for sharing Partner employees' profits in the company's profits has been extended for 2022. Negotiations regarding wage increases and profit sharing for 2023 and 2024 will take place starting in November each year.

The agreement also includes increasing the company's participation in the Cebus catering card, intended for employees outside the headquarters in Rosh HaAyin, the total amount of which will now be NIS 41 per day, and increasing the budget of the aid fund for employees from NIS 70,000 per year to NIS 150,000 per year. The welfare budget will be NIS 12.3 million in each of the years of the agreement, similar to the budget in the previous agreement.
For the first time in a collective agreement in the private sector, a clause was inserted according to which the company will formulate, in cooperation with the workers' representatives, a plan for the assimilation and promotion of equal opportunities and multifaceted employment. The "Equality and Diversity Commissioner" on behalf of the company will be responsible for promoting the program and its implementation.
As part of this, "Parenting Hour" will also apply to a full-time parent employee whose spouse does not take advantage of this benefit, subject to a statement and approval from the additional workplace. In addition, there will be vacation days to choose from, including a day in Pride Month and a day in recruiting an employee child. Moreover, the remuneration for stand-by arrangements for all divisions was arranged. In addition, the volunteer hours of the employees in activities for the community, which are done on behalf of the company and the organization, will be at the expense of the working hours in the partner and in the payment of the company.
The agreement preserves the envelope of conditions as stipulated in the previous agreement, including participation in the payment of summer camps in the summer months, renewal of the scholarship fund budget for students, value of a convalescence day of NIS 500, annual clothing allowance, training fund for employees who completed three years of seniority. In kindergarten payments.
Employees will also continue to enjoy days off at the company's expense on holiday eves, and a concentrated vacation on the Sabbath - two days at the employer's expense on Passover and Sukkot.
It should be noted that the aforesaid does not detract from the claims or claims of the employees' representatives regarding the acquisition of control of the company, including a sales grant.
This point may turn out to be critical, since Partner is on the eve of a sale, apparently to the Rodev-Gabay Group (led by Shlomo Rodev and Avi Gabay). Last week, the workers' committee announced that it had hired the services of Avi Nissenkorn, the Histadrut chairman and retired justice minister, to represent them in negotiations with the new buyers.
Among other things, the employees demand a bonus for the sale itself (from the current owner). At the same time, there are those who estimated that the very fact that a new collective agreement was signed, under which it would expire on 1.1.2022, would make the negotiations with the new controlling shareholders more focused and effective.
Histadrut Chairman Arnon Bar-David: "The agreement reflects the significant contribution of Facts and Partner employees to the group's growth, while tackling the challenges and uncertainty in the communications market. We have proved once again that through dialogue and cooperation it is possible to reach agreements from which all parties benefit.
The agreement protects the rights of the employees, ensures their employment security and contributes to the stability of the company. "I thank the chairman of the Cellular, Internet and High-Tech Workers' Union, Yaki Halutzi, the chairman of the Keren Ofek committee, and the partner management headed by CEO Avi Zvi, who knew how to have a helpful and respectful dialogue with the workers."
Partner CEO Avi Zvi: "Today we signed an agreement that keeps Partner employees at the center, while encouraging excellence and rewarding achievements. The agreement, which is considered one of the best collective agreements in the Israeli economy, preserves all the terms of the previous agreement, which expires at the end of the month.
