Preliminary collective agreement in Pazgaz. The agreement, which will apply to about 350 employees of the gas company, includes, among other things, a signing grant, salary increases and a process of staffing jobs in a way that will prioritize employees from within the company.
The Histadrut, the management and the workers' committee signed a preliminary and groundbreaking collective agreement with Pazgaz. The agreement, which will apply to about 350 employees of the gas company, will be valid for a period of four and a half years and includes, among other things, a signing grant, social wage increases and tenure after two years of employment.
Also in the agreement: payment of a training fund for permanent employees; Company participation in respect of meals; Company participation in payments for kindergartens and summer camps; Adding a day of recovery; Arranging a welfare budget; health insurance; Formulation of a process of staffing jobs in the company and hiring employees in the company in a way that will prioritize hiring employees from the company before leaving for external recruitment.
Pazgaz is a leading gas supplier in Israel and supplies products to the private, agricultural, commercial and industrial sectors. The company's employees, who are employed all over the country, joined the Histadrut in October 2020 in order to improve their terms of employment and regulate their rights in a collective agreement.
