Delek Israel won the tender for the construction of a gas station at Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer. As part of the tender, Delek will operate the station from 01.02.2022 for a period of approximately 6 years. The company won the tender for bids from the various fuel companies.
The station is located at the entrance to the medical center. According to estimates in the fuel economy, the station sells about 10 million liters and fuel products a year and is considered profitable. The entry of Delek Israel has the potential to increase sales.
Yoram Eyal, CEO of Delek Israel, said today: "Winning the tender to build the gas station in Sheba is further evidence of the fulfillment of Delek Israel's vision to lead the fuel market in Israel and establishes its status as the largest and leading company in the fuel and convenience stores industry. The strategic location of the station in the largest hospital in Israel will allow us to continue to develop the growth engines and will lead to increased sales.
We plan to open a convenience store in the station complex that will serve both those coming to Sheba Medical Center and the many residents living in the area and will provide a more comprehensive response to customers. Delek Israel will invest about NIS 1 million in renovating the station and establishing the convenience store. "
