Intel Global buys Screenovate - an Israeli start-up operating in the field of user experience

Intel Global buys Screenovate - an Israeli start-up operating in the field of user experience. The amount of the deal has not been announced, but is estimated at $ 150 million. ScreenBate technology enables seamless and efficient interaction between multiple devices and screens, while maintaining optimal quality, performance and user experience.
This is a very important technology for Intel's operations, which could strengthen its EVO platform and provide its many customers with a better PC user experience. Intel customer surveys show that users need smoother transitions between all their devices, and especially between PC and phone - and this is exactly what ScreenBuite technology seeks to solve.
To date, ScreenBuite has raised about $ 8 million, including from Intel Capital, through which the connection between the companies was formed. The company was founded in 2010 by Dr. Shuki Glazer, who serves as CEO, and other founders include Arnon Catalan, Gilad Ben Yosef and Matan Shapira. It employs 40 people in Raanana - and now everyone, including senior executives, will join Intel. Glazer previously sold Jitco to Microsoft for $ 110 million. Arnon Catalan, who was a senior at Jitco, joined ScreenBoyet as the founder after the exit.
The Israeli company has so far operated under the radar as one of the portfolio companies of the Intel Capital Fund, but its customers include giants such as HP and Dell, to which it sells for millions of dollars. Now, thanks to the connection with Intel, in which the company will be absorbed into the client computing group, its technology will be able to connect all existing operating systems - thus giving Intel customers an upgraded browsing experience. Intel plans to continue developing and marketing ScreenBuite's existing products, and work with the company's team to improve the PC user experience.
