The Talon startup, the first browser developer of its kind created to secure the modern workforce, has entered the list of the ten hottest cyber companies for 2021 of the technology site CRN. The list includes young companies that are developing protection against the growing cyber threats in the age of cloud technologies.
Talon launched last month the TalonWork enterprise browser designed to address the unique threats posed by the hybrid workforce. CRN staff notes in the review that the browser is installed and goes into operation across the organization in less than an hour without the need for hardware, with protection against malware that may be present in the devices, data leakage mechanisms integrated in it and fast recovery capability with a simple and convenient user experience.
Talon was founded in early 2021 by Ofer Ben-Nun, one of the founders of Argos, which was acquired by Continental, and Ohad Bobrov, one of the founders of Lacon Security, which was acquired by Check Point. The company has raised $ 26 million from investors including former executives at Microsoft and Symantec, Palo Alto and Crowd Strike. Talon employs 28 people and is in the process of doubling its staff to support the continued growth of the company and the development of technology and products and customers.
