The Ministry of Health updated the morbidity data in Corona in Israel on Saturday evening, which shows that 1,990 new verified corona cases have been detected in the country in the last day. The number of patients in critical condition is 464, including 195 respirators. The number of deaths rose to a cumulative 7,894 from the outbreak of the plague. The number of vaccinated in the third dose rose to 3,730,490, along with 5,679,203 vaccinated in the second dose.
Meanwhile, it turns out that the number of corona patients in critical condition continues to decline and their number is 457. By comparison, last Thursday the number of serious patients was 636, and two weeks ago exactly 732 such patients were hospitalized in hospitals across the country. This is a 38% decrease in the number of serious patients in two weeks.
Most patients in critical condition are not vaccinated. Data from the Ministry of Health show that 343 of the patients hospitalized in critical condition were not vaccinated at all, 70 were vaccinated but did not receive the booster dose and 30 received the booster dose. For the other 14 patients, their immune status was not disclosed. The data show that more than 77% of patients in critical condition are not vaccinated, compared to less than 7% who received the booster dose.
According to the Ministry of Health, two of the patients in critical condition are 12 to 15 years old who have not been vaccinated. The 16- to 19-year-old was also hospitalized in critical condition and was also not vaccinated. In the age group of 20 to 29 there are 14 critically ill patients - 11 of whom were not vaccinated, two were vaccinated without a booster dose and one received the booster dose.
The data show, among other things, that all 23 serious patients in their 30s were not vaccinated at all. Among the 65 severe patients aged 40 to 49, 60 were not vaccinated at all, four were vaccinated but did not receive the booster dose and a single patient in this age range also received the third vaccine. In the age group 50 to 59 - 97 critically ill patients were hospitalized - 79 of them were not vaccinated at all, 14 were vaccinated without a booster dose and four received the booster dose.
In total, aged 60 and under, more than 87% of patients in critical condition were not vaccinated, compared with about 3% who received the booster dose.
In addition, 103 critically ill patients aged 60 to 69 - 74 of them were not vaccinated, 19 were vaccinated without a booster dose and 10 received the booster dose. Data from the Ministry of Health show that in this age group, 75% of the people received the impulse dose, so for every Israeli at this age who did not receive the impulse dose, there are three who received it.
