The government has approved the appointment of Yogev Gardos as budget director

The government has approved the appointment of Yogev Gardos as budget director at the Ministry of Finance. Gardos, who has been acting budget commissioner since September 2020, was appointed by Finance Minister Avigdor Lieberman to the post on a permanent basis.
Gardos has held a number of senior positions in the division for about 11 years, including deputy budget commissioner in the macro field as well as coordinator in the fields of welfare, social security and absorption, macro and culture and sports.
Gardos, 38, holds a bachelor's degree in economics and accounting, a master's degree in business administration from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a master's degree in public administration from Harvard University. The Minister of Finance, Avigdor Lieberman: "I wish great success to Yogev Gardos, his success - our success. Yogev has gained a great deal of experience with his growth in the budget department and he represents the young and energetic blood flowing in the corridors of the Ministry of Finance."
Lieberman added: "The way he did in passing the last budget in the government is admirable, proved his ability to manage and execute and I am confident that it will complete the procedure in the Knesset. Cooperation is the winning recipe for prosperity and the tools available to Yogev and other ministry officials."
