The yes workers' committee has signed a new collective agreement with the company's management. This is against the background of the strikes of employees of Bezeq's Bezeq International and Pelephone - and against the background of the merger of yes and Bezeq International, which was approved about a month ago by the Minister of Communications, Yoaz Handel.
The collective agreement is valid for the next three years, until 2024, and includes benefits such as salary increases and fixed annual bonuses, a summary according to which the minimum wage will be 7% higher than stipulated by law, free dental insurance and more. The cost of the terms and additions achieved by the employees in the agreement amounts to NIS 55 million for all three years - in addition to those achieved in the previous agreement, the cost of which was not disclosed.
The 1,150 yes employees are represented by the Histadrut management, and the committee's chairman, Eli Cohen. Negotiations on the terms.
Among the summaries obtained: a surrogacy grant to any employee who wishes it; A provision of 7.5% for a training fund for all employees; An increase in provisions for pension insurance; Increased meal and ESL subsidy for technicians; payment of sick days from day one; increase of convalescence allowance; payment of NIS 1,000 for clothing each year; benefits for parents - participation in payment for summer camps and kindergartens; salary increases for Marlog and technicians; A signing grant for employees with at least six months' experience; Agreement that employees who decide to retire voluntarily will receive a retirement grant of 250%; And a summary according to which the company's headquarters divisions will remain in the company.
About a month ago, the Minister of Communications, Yoaz Handel, approved the merger of yes and Bezeq International. It was then announced that it was the company that would lead the merger of Bezeq's subsidiaries, under the Alpha project. The Alpha project is the move to establish a communications brand that will unite the three subsidiaries in the Bezeq Group - Pelephone, Yes and Bezeq International - and will be larger than the parent company, Bezeq.
