Pelephone and Bezeq International workers announced organizational measures
Posted on Aug 2, 2021 by Ifi Reporter - Dan Bielski
The Alpha Workers' Committee announced organizational measures at Pelephone and Bezeq International. This follows what they define as "continued unilateral conduct on the part of management," and after the joint management withdrew last week the application for injunctions against a strike. The Labor Court also ruled that the employees of these companies should not be prevented from taking organizational measures.
Among other things, the work for the development of 5th generation at Pelephone will be stopped and the development of the fiber-optic interface at Bezeq International will be stopped. In addition, the committees announced a complete halt to the joint work (synergy) between three alpha companies (Pelephone, Bezeq International and yes).
Thus, among other things, Bezeq International will not sell Pelephone SIM cards or issue equipment to Pelephone or Yes in favor of inventory or service to private customers. Pelephone will not provide routers to Bezeq International customers and all joint development projects for the three companies will be stopped.
The workers 'representative clarifies that these are only preliminary steps, which will be exacerbated to the extent that the management continues its attempts to harm the workers' organization. At the same time, the demonstrations will continue in front of the homes of Alpha Group executives, including in front of a meeting of the subsidiaries' board of directors, which is expected to take place this week.
