Sarah Netanyahu is employed in a 50% position as a child psychologist in the Jerusalem municipality but works less

Posted on Jul 13, 2021 by Ifi Reporter

Sarah Netanyahu is employed in a 50% position as a child psychologist in the Jerusalem municipality, but the number of hours she actually worked is lower than that - according to a ruling given following a petition by the Success Association and journalist Ben Caspit against the Jerusalem municipality and Netanyahu.
The ruling revealed data on Netanyahu's employment in the Jerusalem municipality between the end of 2017 and June 2021. The ruling shows that Netanyahu is employed by the municipality as a psychologist in 50% of the position, and is scheduled to return to work on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Despite this, the amount of hours she actually worked did not reach part-time.
The full-time job in the Israeli economy is about 180 hours a month, but Netanyahu worked on average less than 60 hours a month in the above years. The year she worked the least was 2018, so she worked an average of 54 hours a month. The year she worked the most The highest was in 2020, when an average of 66 hours was recorded on the part of Bahad
In case she decides yes, she will have to choose whether to spend between three and four hours on the roads on the days when she comes to Jerusalem from Caesarea for this purpose. Another option is to sleep in an apartment owned by the Netanyahu family on Gaza Street in the city. A third option is to apply for a job as a psychologist near her new place of residence in Caesarea.
From our application to the Jerusalem Municipality, it emerged that Netanyahu's salary matched her working hours, since the municipality stated that "according to the municipality's procedures, payment of wages is subject to actual work hours."
The trucks that emptied the belongings of opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu and his family from the prime minister's residence on Balfour Street posed a new dilemma for Sarah Netanyahu.
