The American company Ping Identity, which is traded on Wall Street (NYSE: PING), has acquired the Israeli start-up SecuredTouch, which deals with the development of artificial intelligence technology. Market sources also estimate that this is a deal worth tens of millions of dollars.
Skiord Touch is the second company that Ping acquires in Israel after acquiring Accells in 2014. Skyord employees will join Ping's development center, which will grow by tens of percent as part of Ping's general expansion program in Israel and around the world.
Shmulik Ben Shemen, Ping Identity's operations manager in Israel, says: "Ping has a commitment to invest in Israeli talent. The acquisition of SecuredTouch is a significant milestone in our effort to expand product development activities in Israel and this is only the first step."
Ran Schulkind, co-founder of SecuredTouch, says: "We use technology to analyze user information while browsing and thus answer two questions: whether it is a person or a machine, and if it is a person, whether he has malicious intentions. This acquisition will allow Ping customers to identify More fraudulent online scams. "
The purchase will allow Ping customers to better verify users' identities and thus prevent malicious online activities. Once purchased, customers will be able to use the SecuredTouch platform as a separate solution and also as part of the cloud platform that Ping offers.
