The construction of 220 long-term rental apartments for the ultra-Orthodox public in Bnei Brak is underway: The Ashtrom company, headed by Rami Nussbaum, won a tender this morning (Thursday) for an apartment to rent in the city, on the border of Hayarkon Park.
These units will be built as part of a huge plan of the Committee for the Preference of Preferred Housing Complexes (Hotamal), approved in June 2018, which plans to build about 2,100 housing units in various areas, alongside public institutions, commercial areas, and open public areas.
This new residential complex, which will cover an area of ​​about 790 dunams, will be located north of the built-up urban area of ​​Bnei Bank and the Mother Colonies Road, and near Highway 4. According to the government company Apartment for Rent, the rental housing units in the project will be built in five buildings. Of public institutions and commercial facades to the extent of about 900 square meters. This is the fifth project to rent an apartment that Ashtrom will build - which is currently building and operating more than 1,400 long-term rental housing units in the Neot Peres projects in Haifa, the GDNA complex and the nursery complex in Tel Aviv - and the small Hadassah project in Jerusalem.
