The Israeli fintech company Melio is opening a branch in Denver

Posted on Jul 1, 2021 by Ifi Reporter - Dan Bielski

The Israeli fintech company Melio, which develops a payment platform that serves small businesses in the United States, is opening a branch in the city of Denver, Colorado, in order to get closer and serve its customers in the western United States. The company began a course that will eventually recruit 250 employees at the new site. The company, which has offices in Tel Aviv and New York, chose Colorado for its central location, convenient access to local and international markets, and being an important center that attracts quality manpower.
"Colorado offers small businesses a vibrant environment, it gathers quality manpower, and it is in a strategic location that will bring us closer to our growing customer base," said Matan Bar, CEO and founder of Malio, adding "The new Colorado office, along with growing Tel Aviv and Sons offices "York, will help us achieve our goal of helping small businesses improve work processes and cash flow, and establish their financial strength through a free, simple and secure payment platform."
Colorado has a high concentration of small and medium-sized businesses, so it is ideal for Malio, who is developing a payment solution for just such businesses and is growing at a rapid pace. 98% of businesses in Colorado are small, and in the first quarter of 2021 a record number of 44,740 new businesses were established in the state. The country regularly tops the list of the ten countries where it is best to start a new business.
According to State Governor Jared Polis, "Colorado is the perfect place to run or run a business, and to live, work and spend time. We continue to attract and grow entrepreneurs and employees at the highest levels. " He added that "the new jobs that are opening up strengthen our high-tech field, and contribute to our economic resilience."
