Celcom wants to join the Electricity market

A study conducted by Cellcom and the Energy Economy shows that about 70% of consumers are willing to switch to another supplier other than the electricity company. 81% of customers expressed their opinion that the main incentive to choose a supplier is "reduction in the price of the monthly electricity", 45% said that "good customer service" is an incentive to switch, 40% said they would consider moving to an energy company, 19% would consider moving Additional services for the supply of electricity, and 7% will consider moving to a company that will offer additional services, such as a "smart home".
Households currently pay the electricity company an average of NIS 4,000 a year, and after joining Cellcom Energy they will be able to enjoy savings of up to NIS 500 a year - according to the company. A medium-sized business, which pays an average of NIS 50,000 a year, will enjoy savings of up to NIS 3,000 a year, while a large business, which currently pays about NIS 1 million a year, will enjoy savings of up to NIS 50,000 a year.
In addition, Cellcom Energy intends to offer home customers and small businesses that will be added to the service a program that includes a commitment, a smart power kit as a gift (a kit worth NIS 500, which includes smart sockets and a smart switch for the home boiler) that will allow the consumer full control over power consumption. Remote smart as well as receiving information regarding the history of consumption and a reflection of the cost of operating the products in terms of consumption and money.
