The Bat Yam Municipality welcomed the announcement of the cancellation of the union and emphasized that the deficit was reduced from NIS 100 million at the beginning of 2018, to only NIS 19 million in 2021. This is when the deficit is expected to be zero next year. "This is a holiday for Bat Yam," said Mayor Zvika Brut. "I am happy and proud of the economic revolution we have made and the trust on the part of the state.
