Posted on Jun 1, 2021 by Ifi Reporter

IAI has signed a $ 200 million contract with an Asian country to provide UAV services (unmanned aerial vehicle). This is the company's fourth deal in this area in 2021: earlier this year it won a tender from the EU Prontex organization, and signed Two more deals to supply Heron MK 2 UAV systems, also to Asian countries.
The UAVs of the Heron family are the most prominent of the UAVs' UAVs, and even took part in gathering intelligence in the latest "Guardian of the Walls" operation. They are operationally operated on a regular basis by more than 20 customers worldwide.
The Rhone UAV, of all types, is also designed to support land and sea missions against submarines and coastguards, which are controlled from battleships and the coast.
It is equipped with line of sight or satellite communications, is characterized by operational flexibility, and has the ability to take off, land and control remotely, without the need to deploy a control station near the runway.
