The Ministry of Health announced that for the first time since the outbreak of the corona plague in Israel, all restrictions will be lifted. The ministry announced that the decision comes in light of the long and stable morbidity data, which allow for a long time, which allows for a return to routine.
According to the ministry's announcement, Health Minister Yuli Edelstein will not seek to extend the restrictions that expire on June 1, so that the need for a green label will be eliminated and the purple label restrictions will be removed. However, it has not yet been decided whether to continue the obligation to wear masks indoors: in the next two weeks, the professionals will hold discussions on the subject, and the ministry stressed that until further notice, the obligation will continue.
In addition, restrictions on entry and exit to Israel will be waived, and if necessary, tightened. The Ministry of Health recently issued a travel warning to three more countries, namely the Seychelles, Argentina and Russia. They join the seven countries considered dangerous, whose returnees, whether recovering or vaccinated, are required to be isolated for 10 days
