Sonol enters the world of urban supermarkets: Acquires the City Market chain in a deal valued at NIS 35 million. The chain currently has seven branches in the cities of Tel Aviv and Ramat Gan, open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. By the end of 2021, the chain will have 12 branches in the Gush Dan area, which will continue to operate under the name "City Market". Lior Kimchizi.
City Market concluded 2020 with a sales turnover of approximately NIS 60 million. Over the past year, which has been characterized by increased stays in homes, the chain has established a backlog of customers who live or work near the branches
