Omega, the operator of the Check2Fly corona testing: today the fast track for Corona PCR testing began at Ben Gurion airport

Posted on Mar 9, 2021 by Ifi Reporter - Dan Bielski

Omega, the operator of the Check2Fly corona testing system at Ben Gurion Airport, announced today (Tuesday) that the fast track for Corona PCR testing began its operations this morning.
According to the company, a test on the fast track, which provides a result within 4 hours, will cost NIS 135, while a test on the slow track, with results within 14 hours, will cost NIS 45.
These are corona tests intended for passengers who want to take off from Ben Gurion Airport, and for various reasons decided not to perform the test through the HMO for free. Check2Fly tests are PCR-type corona tests. To use the service, an appointment must be made prior to arrival, via the Check2Fly website.
Omega also operates the system of corona inspections that are performed for all Landings at Ben Gurion Airport, vaccinated and unvaccinated. The Airports Authority recommends making an appointment in advance before landing in order to save time at the airport. This inspection does not involve additional passenger payment, and is subsidized by the state.
