Histadrut chairman Arnon Bar-David initiated vaccinations at work places

The rate of vaccination among the general public is still unsatisfactory, and it has not yet reached the desired levels. Histadrut chairman Arnon Bar-David ordered cooperation with the Ministry of Health, the HMOs and the Home Front Command's command headquarters, which aims to encourage concentrated immunization in the workplace. The task is led by the Histadrut's CEO and Chief of Staff, Adv. Ofir Alkalei.
The aim of the initiative is to locate jobs large and small, where the potential for immunization is high. In this framework, an appeal was made to thousands of CEOs and heads of committees of organizations that employ more than 500 people. In addition, an appeal was made to the heads of trade unions in order to find other relevant jobs within their area of ​​responsibility.
The response was not long in coming. In collaboration with the Corona Control Center, referrals were gathered from employers seeking to offer their employees a vaccine mobile service. Thanks to their willingness, we have already vaccinated thousands of vehicles that have reached major workplaces in the economy, including Teva and KKL-JNF, as well as factories such as Blade Technologies and the Zoko plant.
The chairman of the Histadrut, Arnon Bar-David, welcomed the response and said: "Placing vaccine mobility in the workplace is intended to enable employees who are interested in doing so to be vaccinated quickly and easily. This way, more and more employees will be able to maintain their health and the health of their co-workers. I call on everyone who has not yet been vaccinated to give a shoulder and come, because only together can we overcome, eradicate the disease and take the Israeli economy on a new path. The Histadrut will continue to work with all parties to encourage immunization. "
