A green benefit card loaded will soon be issued to those who have been vaccinated

A green benefit card loaded for the vaccinated will soon be issued to those who have been vaccinated and will be interested in winning for receiving the two vaccines in benefits in the coming months. The Minister of Economy and Industry, Amir Peretz, this weekend instructed the heads of his ministry to work to produce a rechargeable green card at no cost, which will be distributed free of charge to vaccinators. Sources in the Ministry of Economy have in recent days contacted the three credit card companies - Visa Cal, Isracard and Max - who were enthusiastic about the idea and are cooperating in the issuance of the new card.
The green rechargeable card will actually be a debit card (this will not be a regular credit card), with the cardholder's name stamped on it that can be loaded with unlimited money and will allow you to get big discounts through credit card companies and commercial companies using it or presenting it when buying.
The new card will be able to prevent counterfeits of the green passports currently issued (counterfeiting attempts have already been discovered in recent days), and will be another reference for receiving the two vaccines against the corona virus.
The credit card companies are very interested in implementing the project, both as a card that will serve the public and from their business angle. The Ministry of Economy stated that the companies hope to recruit many new customers in this way, including those who do not currently hold a credit card at all.
However, it should be emphasized that the issuance of the card will be voluntary and non-binding - each vaccinator will be able to choose which credit card company he will be issued.
Minister Peretz's office said that this project is intended to encourage the public to get vaccinated and increase consumption for businesses, especially from the time all trade opens, and that early this week the issue will be accelerated so that tomorrow (Sunday) the Minister of Economy will meet with Finance Minister Israel Katz. Which he formulated for the economic incentive to exit the quarantine. Among other things, Minister Peretz will offer to give a monthly grant until the end of 2021 to small and medium-sized businesses that will see growth in turnover every month. The budget will be allocated from the "corona boxes".
It should be noted that the Attorney General of the Ministry of Economy noted that such future grants can also be approved during the election campaign, with the approval of the Attorney General. Summarize the outline of issuing the card and delivering it to customers. Subsequently, the outline is expected to be presented to the Ministry of Finance and finally brought to the Corona Cabinet for approval.
