6.7 million Israelis surf the Internet, with each house downloading an average of 12 gigabytes of files per day, compared with 9 gigabytes last year - an increase of about 30%, according to a report published today by Bezeq, which controls the Internet infrastructure in Israel. 5 times half a gigabyte to 3 gigabytes.

According to the report, 71% of Israelis upgraded the Internet infrastructure and related equipment - with the average expenditure per year standing at NIS 2,300, including upgrading the surfing package (44%), computer (25%), router (24%) and range magnifiers (21%). 70% of homeworkers did not receive funding or equipment from the workplace, and 89% of students did not receive funding or equipment from municipalities and the Ministry of Education.
Among other things, the use of the Internet increased because we bought more online, we used more digital medical services and 94% of the respondents reported that they started using digital bureaucracy, of which 69% used the digital services more this year compared to last year.
Video content has also grown: 93% of the public watch streaming (live viewing). The report also shows that the percentage of viewers of video content streaming via television has increased this year to 51%, compared with 26% in the previous year. Watching Netflix, for example, has doubled this year. More Israelis listen to online music and podcasts and play more online (especially teenagers). .
There is also a 96% increase in the use of smart TVs from 26% to 51% in watching video content from the Internet and a decrease in watching this content from a smartphone or tablet.
