21 residents and staff members of a nursing home in Bat-Yam were infected with Corona

21 residents and staff members were evacuated today (Saturday) from the Neve Babov nursing home in Bat Yam after being diagnosed with corona, a few days after being vaccinated against the virus. They have been evacuated to alternative hospitals and institutions, and are currently undergoing tests to detect Corona 150 additional residents and staff at the institution.

The residents of the nursing homes and the workers in them were vaccinated at the beginning of the vaccination campaign, along with the medical staff. In the HMOs, insured persons under the age of 60 also began to be vaccinated this week. Clalit and Maccabi began to summon insureds aged 55 and over who suffer from chronic diseases, and Maccabi added that oncology patients and insured persons over the age of 16 who also suffer from immunosuppression will also be vaccinated. The National Health Insurance Fund, which began insuring insured persons aged 50 and over earlier this week, announced that they are allocating excess vaccines to patients suffering from chronic diseases, in descending order according to their age.
