428 people out of 15,144 vaccinated who underwent corona testing were found positive

428 people out of 15,144 vaccinated who underwent corona testing were found to be positive. This is according to data from the Ministry of Health. The ministry stated that "this is not a vaccine failure because these are people who have received one dose and a complete immune response has not yet been received. Also, some have been exposed to the virus before receiving the vaccine."
Health Minister Yuli Edelstein calmed the concerns and said: "There is no delay. There will not be a moment in the day in the State of Israel that we do not have enough shots in the refrigerators for the second vaccine doses, unless we reach half a million vaccinators a day." He noted that from January 10, when they will start giving vaccinators the second dose, until February 1, no new populations will be vaccinated - that is, for three weeks.
However, he does not hold out hope in the current closure - which he does not call so but "restrictions". "Certainly we will not reach 1,000 verified people a day through it, we have been with more than 5,000 for three days now."
He said he would seek to tighten restrictions, although he said yesterday about tightening the closure that "this is not politically possible." Regarding the education system, along with the aggravation, he said that he intends to request the return of schooling in grades 11-12, also in red localities.
Hundreds of employees of the Airports Authority began getting vaccinated against Corona this morning (Thursday) even though they do not meet the criteria set by the Ministry of Health. These are about 400 workers, under the age of 60, who work at the PA and Ben Gurion Airport as security guards, flight inspectors, porters, firefighters, travel services and more.
Idan demanded that the state vaccinate them because he said they were vital workers. The long-awaited approval was given yesterday, and this morning the workers started getting vaccinated in the clinics.
Some of them uploaded pictures to social media and India for the era. At the same time, workers over the age of 60 are vaccinated, according to the criteria. In a conversation with Ynet, Idan said: "We chased after the vaccines from last week and we received the approval yesterday." He explained why it was important to vaccinate the workers: "They meet hundreds of Israelis every day who come from abroad and are therefore at the forefront."
