The opening of the malls caused the volume of credit card purchases to increase by 30%

The opening of the malls and end-of-year promotions are once again returning clothing and footwear purchases to a positive sentiment, with the volume of credit card purchases being almost 30% higher in the past week than the 2019 average.
Some recovery has also been recorded in hotels, with the highest figures since the end of the second closure. And yet the industry is very far from returning to routine with 49% lower credit card usage compared to last year. Clothing and footwear products increased by 29%. In the food chains, there was a 12% increase. In the hotel sector, there was a decrease of 49% compared to the same period in 2019, in the area of electrical products there was a decrease of 4%.
