Isracard launches the ANYWAY app for advanced payments in public transportation. Isracard announced today the launch of the app, which will operate from December 15, and will for the first time allow payment for public transportation travel, while making maximum use of the most discounts that come to each customer. Unlike the old multi-line card, which must be pre-loaded with money, in the ANYWAY app the payment is made at the end of the month, according to the trips we actually made.
The app is available for download in the iOS and Android app store, and will be used in the first phase for payment on buses and matronly. The intention is to continue to integrate the app on the train and other means of public transport later on.
When registering for the app, you will be asked to enter credit card information, with the charge being made according to a monthly travel calculation on the 25th of each month. The app will provide all the discounts that are available on public transport (youth, senior citizens, etc.) and will also allow free passage between lines within 90 minutes and a radius of 15 km (airline) from the first boarding station, just like Rabbi Kav today. You have to scan the QR code that appears on the bus, select the line on which you ascended and the drop-off station, click on travel charge and this is you have a travel card.Also, the app will allow payment for additional passengers - up to 8 passengers.
The calculation for the trips is made on the 25th of the month for the period between the 25th of the previous month and the 24th of the current month. The charge is made according to the billing date of the credit card (except for debit and tourist cards for which the calculation and billing are two days).
Children and teenagers will also be able to install the app and set up a "youth up to 18" profile with appropriate documents, and the charge for them will be made using a credit card of one of the parents.
The app will allow customers to set up the profile and upload relevant documents that once approved, the app will automatically allow them to get the optimal discount for it. For example: in the case of daily trips within a range of 15 km, the customer will pay a maximum amount of 13 NIS for unlimited travel. The customer will not have to choose the option of "free daily" or any other payment arrangement - the app will simply find the lowest payment order for him. In addition, the app will automatically calculate an additional monthly discount for example: with a monthly charge that is between NIS 200.01-400, a discount of 75% will be given and there are also additional discount levels.
In addition, the app will allow you to view the travel history and charges, as well as receive a monthly invoice for all the trips made. The app is open to all credit card customers.
