Ministry of Health: 473 Israelis were diagnosed as positive for Corona since midnight

The Ministry of Health updated that 473 Israelis were diagnosed as positive for Corona since midnight. The rate of positive tests stands at 2.2%, and is affected by the many survey tests. 665 patients are hospitalized in hospitals across the country, 385 of them in critical condition. The number of respirators has also decreased and stands at 163 - the lowest figure since September 22. In addition, five more Corona patients have died and the number of deaths since the outbreak of the plague stands at 2,579.
Data from the Ministry of Education show that 262 children attending kindergartens across the country were found to be positive for the corona virus. This is 2.5% of all patients in the population. In primary schools, 516 students out of more than one million were diagnosed, and in post-primary education, 537 students out of about 800,000 were diagnosed. In the special education frameworks, 51 positives were found.
