Amzaleg: "In recent months, I have been engaged in various and varied operations day and night, with one thing in mind all the time - the return of Arkia to operations in the midst of the biggest crisis the aviation industry has ever experienced. These operations included preparing a regular business plan, With the workers' committees, managing the contacts with the banks and the Ministry of Finance for the purpose of obtaining state-guaranteed loans and making the necessary preparations for the return of the company to commercial activity.
"Now that the mission is complete, I have decided to move on to new career challenges and in general. I thank the shareholders and Arkia Board of Directors for the trust and support in Arkia's recovery moves and I wish the dear Arkia employees that Arkia aircraft will continue to paint the sky," Amzaleg wrote.
Markie said: "We thank Liron Amzaleg for his significant contribution in recent months in restoring the company to commercial activity, as well as for his many achievements throughout his years of work at the company."
