Facebook Israel will set up an online commerce school for small businesses to increase their sales

Facebook Israel has announced that it will set up an online commerce school, to teach local businesses how to increase their sales and reach more customers - through its platform. The program, which lasts about two months, will include professional training, which will give participants online trading experts from Facebook alongside external lecturers. According to the company, the goal is also to teach businesses to appeal to a global audience and not just a local one - and thus reach more potential customers.
Facebook's new initiative (-6.31% 263.11) will currently only operate in Israel in the format of online studies, and the first cycle is intended for 30 businesses. The program is open to businesses in the field of online commerce established by Israeli entrepreneurs, with self-financing or early financing, with evidence of business growth and revenue.
The program offers workshops, lectures and personal mentoring of online commerce facilitators, entrepreneurs or investors, sales strategy, building the right creative to promote the business, creating and presenting a product catalog, logistics and more. For those admitted to the program, the training will be provided free of charge.
