The Fuel Administration of the Ministry of Energy announced on Thursday the update of the price of fuel for November, with a line in the form of a reduction of 12 Agorot per liter. Therefore, this coming Saturday night, the maximum price per liter of gasoline (octane 95 self-service) will not exceed NIS 5.34. The supplement for full service will be 21 cents per liter (including VAT), without change from the previous month.
The maximum price in Eilat (excluding VAT) will not exceed NIS 4.57 per liter, a decrease of 10 cents from the previous month. The supplement for full service will be 18 cents per liter (excluding VAT), without change from the previous month.
An examination of the data of the Ministry of Energy reveals that the reduction is attributed to a decrease of about 8% in the price of fuel in the Mediterranean basin, to which was added a reduction of about 2% in the dollar exchange rate. In any case, from the beginning of November, the tax rate that the state imposes on fuel continues to be high and will reach close to 72% of the price of a liter.
