According to the wealth report of the research department of the Swiss credit bank Swiss, the number of millionaires in the country decreased by only 154 due to the declines in markets and real estate prices. The bank defined a millionaire as someone who owns one million net liquid assets, including private assets, and less liabilities (this means, for example, that for the purpose of calculation, the bank deducts the mortgage from someone who owns an apartment).

According to the Credit Suisse report, Israel currently has 157,286 millionaires (as of the end of June 2020) - compared to 157,440 millionaires who were in Israel at the beginning of the year. The average wealth value of each Israeli millionaire is $ 3.33 million (net, less all liabilities and loans) - Similar to the value of millionaires' assets at the end of last year.

The report also shows that Israel is ranked 30th on the list of countries with the most millionaires in the world, and that the country has only 10 billionaires, each of whom is richer than a billion dollars. According to the report, the average wealth of every resident in Israel stands (as of the end of June 2020) at $ 220,996 - compared to $ 222,513 at the beginning of the year. The total wealth of adults in Israel currently stands at $ 1.2 billion, compared to $ 1.23 billion at the end of 2019. Each adult is worth an average of $ 3.33 million, which places Israel in 30th place among the countries of the world.
