Bezalel Machlis, President and CEO of Elbit Systems: "The US Army's choice of ENVG-B systems is a testament to the quality of Elbit Systems America's technologies and their unique operational contribution."
This contract from Elbit is another step in realizing the business potential in the field of night vision, and is a direct result of the acquisition of night vision activity from the American company Harris, in a transaction worth $ 350 million agreed upon in April 2019.
In September 2019, Elbit won a $ 249 million contract to supply upgraded night vision devices for the U.S. Marines, under which it will provide Marines with Squad Night Vision Goggle night vision goggles, including spare parts and maintenance and logistics services.
Since acquiring night vision operations, Elbit has announced two huge deals in the United States for the supply of night vision systems totaling approximately $ 690 million.
