NY Koen Group, based in Dubai, will submit a bid to acquire Israir

NY Koen Group, based in Dubai, will submit a bid to acquire Israir. The company reported this this morning (Tuesday) in Dubai. The offer will be submitted by the subsidiary Aero Private Jet, which has experience in business aviation.
Israir is up for sale by the liquidator of IDB Open, Adv. Ophir Naor. The proceeds will benefit IDB bondholders from Series T and Tu. (Koen Naum) and is active in India, the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, the United States, Bahrain, the Czech Republic and Saudi Arabia, among others.
Aero Private Jet has been active in the business aviation industry since 2003. The company works closely with the largest operators and private owners of business aircraft worldwide and has access to more than 7,000 aircraft and 4,000 airports. The airline is responsible for more than 3,200 flights and provides services in organizing VIP flights for business and leisure.
NY Koen Group is an international holding company founded by Koen in 2003. Its holding company and subsidiaries operate in a variety of fields, including jewelry and diamond manufacturing, private aviation, digital technologies, construction and security projects.
The company is active in many countries around the world, including the United Arab Emirates, India, Qatar, the Czech Republic, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine, the United States and Hong Kong.
"By creating jobs and establishing partnerships with foreign companies, NY Koen is contributing to the creation of economic growth," the company's website said.
A dozen companies operate under the umbrella of the holding company, one of which is Aero Private Jet, which has experience in business aviation and will reportedly submit the takeover bid to Israir.
Other subsidiaries include jewelry and diamond maker Daniel MS, jewelry chain Jeni Coin with branches in Prague, Kiev and Dubai, and security company NY Security.
The company's founder, Kuan, is defined on his private website as a Ukrainian businessman, philanthropist and patron of the arts. The site reports social events he has attended, including a dinner at the Bahraini Sheikh, an event at the Diwali Festival in India and also a meeting with Dr. Eli Fisher, President of the Dr. Fisher Association, in New York. All of these events were reported in October and November 2018, and since then no new events have been updated on the site.
The field of jewelry and diamonds is one of the most prominent of the company's activities. In July of this year it was reported that a NY Koen-owned gemstone and diamond trading platform called GEMGOW would sell a 25% stake to a holding company owned by Abu Dhabi’s royal family.
Last August it was reported that NY Koen had begun construction of the NY Twin Tower Hotel in Kiev, where a casino would also operate. This follows Ukrainian legislation that went into effect last month and allows gambling in the country.
