IEC announced the government that it intends to limit supply to the palestinians
Posted on Sep 7, 2019 by Ifi Reporter
The electricity company has announced to the government that it intends to limit supply to the East Jerusalem Electric Corporation after the amount owed to the billion and seven hundred million shekels. To date, the IEC has been able to get some of the debt through the government's activity, which offset the payments of taxes transferred to the Palestinians to the IEC. The supply restriction procedure is expected to begin in about two weeks. The first to be harmed will probably be Palestinian villages in the West Bank. It is estimated that the political echelon will not prevent the move, but will ask the electricity company to act moderately so as not to make things worse
