Matrix acquires Medatech for NIS 85 million

Matrix continues to expand: IT company announced the acquisition of Meda-Tech information, which was founded in 1993, for NIS 85 million. Medatech, which is owned by Meir Gabai, is the largest company in Israel to implement and implement the Priority system, which deals with financial-logistic management (ERP). The company also develops complementary software for the system, which provide multi-sectoral solutions for a variety of fields and complementary modules.
As part of the transaction, Matrix purchases the entire share capital of Information Technology. The transaction also includes the subsidiary, DataTech Systems, which provides complementary infrastructure services to Priority customers, including cloud services, system services, database management services (DBAs), support and sales of complementary equipment and software.
Medatech serves more than 1,000 customers in various industries in Israel and around the world, including Afcon, Teva, Neopearm, Electra, Shikun & Binui, Sano, CTS, McDonald's Israel, Deloitte, Minrav and more. Upon completion of the acquisition, Matrix expands its solutions in the field of enterprise information systems in general and ERP in particular, and becomes a major player in the market.
DataTech will continue to operate as a subsidiary of Matrix. The company's CEO, Hanna Sarel, will continue to serve as its president, and the company's president, Doron Branson and CEO Yaara Halamish, will continue to serve in Mashartec Systems.
Matrix, which is traded on the stock exchange at a company value of NIS 2.4 billion, is an IT company engaged in providing software solutions and marketing of hardware and software products, mainly to customers in the financial banking, high-tech and public administration sectors
