Amdocs announced it cancells it's participation in the MWC Mobile Show in Barcelona

More companies join the list of companies announcing their cancellation of the MWC Mobile Show, which is scheduled to open in Barcelona at the end of the month.
Japanese mobile provider NTT Docomo software company Amdocs has also announced its cancellation. The other member is Amdocs, one of the prominent exhibitors in the exhibition, which runs one of the largest and central pavilions. Amdocs was to send to the exhibition several hundred of its employees, in which it was to operate a two-story pavilion, 540 square feet.
According to Yehudit Yempolsky, human resources chief of staff at Amdocs, the decision was made by the company's CEO after a few days of discussions. Speaking to "Globes", Yampolsky said that "the pavilion was completely canceled, but if there were customers who would like to hold meetings, there might be an alternative."
The spread of the corona virus has in recent days led technology companies to cancel or restrict their participation in mass events for fear of the spread of the disease. After Swedish telecommunications giant Erickson, chipmaker Envidia, and Chinese giants ZTE and Korean LG announced their cancellation of some of the events held at the conference, Sony and Amazon also announced today their cancellation of MWC, the world's largest and most important international conferencing industry .
South Korean electronics giant Samsung, the show's senior exhibitor, has not announced its cancellation, but will reduce the scope of its senior presence at the show.
Yesterday, the organizers of the conference, scheduled to open in two weeks - on February 24 - in Barcelona, ​​Spain, announced that the entry of a conference of travelers arriving at the disease outbreak would be banned, a hobby in China, and would prohibit the entry of guests visiting other parts of China in the 14 days prior to the event.
