UNIFARM CEO Dr. Ron Tomer has been named president of the new Manufacturers Association. Tomer will replace the chairman of the J. Brosh enterprise group, Shraga Brosh, after five years in the last term and a total of 12 years in office.
The Manufacturers Association presidential elections were held today in the Maccabiah Village in Ramat Gan during the General Assembly of 2020. 788 Manufacturers Association members reached the ballot, the largest number in the history of the association. Tomer was elected with a majority of 421 votes. Shmuel Donnerstein, the owner and CEO of a multi-bolt company that faced Tomer, received 364 votes. 2 abstained.
When elected President, Tomer said: "I would like to thank all the manufacturers who gave me the trust. Me and my partner, Ayelet Nachmias and Rabin, will devote all the energy and energy to the success of the industry and strengthen the foundation of the Manufacturers Association.
