Bank Hapoalim CEO Dov Kotler, Chairman of the Histadrut Arnon Bar-David and Chairman of Bank Hapoalim employees Roni Garfunkel - have signed a new collective bargaining agreement at the Histadrut in Tel Aviv. 7,500 employees and employees at headquarters and bank branches throughout the country.
The signing of the agreement was attended by: Chairman of the Histadrut Arnon Bar-David, CEO of Bank Hapoalim Dov Kotler, Deputy CEO of Bank Hapoalim and Director of Human Resources Amit Oberkowitz, Chairman of the Ma'of Histadrut, Adv. Gil Bar-Tal , Head of Banking and Credit Company Division Adv. Menachem Malik and Chairman of Bank Hapoalim Employees Roni Garfunkel.
Among the clauses of the agreement: a signature grant of one and a half salaries for each employee, plus a monthly salary increase of NIS 550-700; Increase the welfare budget in the mutual aid fund to NIS 1.5 million; Increasing the culture budget to NIS 1,500 per employee, almost double the amount now; Increase the gift budget for personal events from NIS 250 to NIS 350 per employee; And creating a uniform bonus table for all bank employees.
The chairman of the Histadrut, Arnon Bar-David, said in signing the agreement: "In 2020, which began today, the Histadrut is entering the centenary of its founding, while Bank Hapoalim will mark this important date next year. The Histadrut and Bank Hapoalim began their journey almost together and each signing of an agreement between us is an important and significant event that reflects the good cooperation and relations between the parties. I thank everyone who resolutely and respectfully led the negotiations to sign a balanced and proper agreement that would improve and improve the employment conditions of thousands of workers and workers throughout the country, with emphasis on workers at lower wages.
