Posted on Jan 3, 2020 by Ifi Reporter

The Ministry of the Environment approved Nobel Energy on Monday to hold the second bailout. The ministry completed verification of the amounts of benzene and carbon emitted Tuesday during the bailout at the Leviathan rig. The quantities were less than 4 kg of benzene, about 220 tonnes of methane and 4.2 tonnes of volatile organic compounds, which are significantly lower than the early forecasts that represented the maximum emission scenario
Samples were taken by various means, according to a pre-approved program and inspected in the bar by representatives and office supervisors. On Wednesday and yesterday, the Ministry of Environmental Protection received complaints from residents about the fear of unusual emissions from the aid. The company's reports are reviewed by the firm. The ministry emphasizes that it looked at the data of the monitoring stations deployed in the residential area in front of the whale rig, and there was no increase in benzene values beyond the normal values.
The Nobel Energy Company, as required by the Ministry of the Environment, announced it would hold the second phase of the levy on Leviathan rig on Monday morning.
