Cyber Perimeter 81, which develops Network as a Service (NaaS) platform for secure access to enterprise applications and resources in the cloud and on local networks, has raised $ 10 million under the leadership of SonicWall, a portfolio company of US investment fund Francisco Partners and with current investors.
Perimeter 81 develops technology for securing networks to organizations as a NaaS service and replaces solutions like the traditional VPN. SonicWall provides users with firewall and next-generation cyber security solutions. As a result of the collaboration, the company will offer customers a data security and unified networking platform that will provide a holistic information and network security solution as a Secure Network as a Service.
Amit Barkat, Co-Founder and CEO of Perimeter 81: "81 Perimeter has enjoyed significant growth in recent quarters. Recruitment and collaboration with SonicWall will allow us to accelerate the company's growth and expand the range of network security services and solutions on our platform without the use of hardware-based solutions, through the cloud. "
PERIMETER 81 develops a Secure Network as a Service based on the Zero Trust model that replaces outdated, complex, hardware-based traditional technologies and turns them into a user-friendly software solution that simplifies network security access for today's distributed cloud and desktop environment on-premise.
Perimeter 81 was founded by Amit Barkat and Sagi Gidley, two cyber security experts, graduates of an elite IDF intelligence unit, and serves a wide range of organizations.
