Hadas Water unveiled a first-of-its-kind under-sink system for Shabbat observant users

Israeli company Hadas Water, a developer and manufacturer of purified water bars, has unveiled a first-of-its-kind under-sink system in Israel designed to provide hot and cold purified water while incorporating a special mechanism adapted for Shabbat observant users.

The system, which was developed specifically for the traditional and religious public, has received approval from the Kashrut authority of the Badatz.

According to the company, the device dispenses cold water cooled to up to 4°C and hot water up to 96°Coperating through a mechanism designed to comply with Shabbat observance requirements.

$500,000 Investment in Development

Udi Simeni, CEO of Hadas Water, said the company invested approximately $500,000 in the development of the new system.

“The company invested significant resources in developing an under-sink water system tailored to the needs of the religious public,” Simeni said.

Additional Shabbat-Compatible Water Bar

Alongside the new system, Hadas Water also offers a water bar designed for Shabbat observant households, the Spirit Plus water bar.

The device combines automatic technological operation during weekdays with a mechanical solution that allows use on Shabbat, enabling users to access purified water without activating electrical systems.

Advanced Filtration Technology

Hadas Water noted that its filtration systems are customized according to the water quality at each customer’s location.

The Spirit Plus water bar includes a precision filtration system with a filtration level of 1 micron, designed to improve water purity. In regions with high water scale, the company says it provides specialized filtration solutions to fully address scale buildup.

The company said the development reflects growing demand for technological solutions tailored to religious lifestyles while maintaining modern convenience and high water purification standards.
