Seedo filed a patent in the US for a system to help raise medical cannabis effectively using artificial intelligence.
The system is integrated into an automatic growing facility of medical cannabis, studying in real time the effect of changing temperature, humidity, water, light hours, fertilization and other indicators on the development of plants and constantly improving crops. The patent application includes the data collection system, their processing, identification of failures and successes and implementation of the conclusions.
According to Zohar Levy, CEO of Sido, the system is the first of its kind that effectively implements artificial intelligence technologies in the world of agriculture and can be applied to many other crops and can lead to the expansion of agricultural seasons, the development of agriculture in places where climate has not allowed it so far and in urban and industrial areas Which are not adapted to agriculture, while increasing farmers' profits.
Sido's automatic growing systems for medical cannabis are adapted for large-scale agricultural cultivation in containers with controlled weather conditions and pest isolation, and are the first in the world to allow full automatic growth in a closed facility. The company also developed home appliances marketed mainly in the US In the second quarter of the year, 1800 facilities will be manufactured for medical cannabis towers in the US and Europe.
Sido has signed agreements to establish automated farms for growing medical cannabis in tanks in Kibbutz Dan in the north and in Moshav Brosh in the south. The company's shares are traded on the US stock exchange and recently joined as an investor and board member Daniel Birenbaum, CEO of Sudastream.
