Posted on Jul 20, 2023 by Ifi Reporter

Macbidnet, a chain of dental clinics under the Maccabi Health Services Group, has partnered with Mia Analytics, the representative of SAS in Israel, to implement a cutting-edge monitoring and control system. The system is designed to detect anomalies and potential risks in critical work processes, utilizing smart technologies from the world of big data and artificial intelligence.

With 58 clinics spread across the country and a workforce of 3,700 medical and administrative employees, including 1,400 dentists, Macbidnet performs over 5 million procedures annually. The SAS system will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the organization on the business, economic, and image fronts, with a particular focus on areas such as procurement, wages, revenues, and collections.

The hybrid approach of the SAS system combines advanced analytics based on machine learning, artificial intelligence, graph theory, and network analysis, complemented by traditional techniques like laws and business scenarios. This comprehensive approach allows the system to continuously and automatically analyze data, saving valuable time and resources by reducing the need for manual controls.

The system's capabilities encompass a wide range of functions, including identifying unusual financial procedures, pinpointing business relationships between employees and suppliers, detecting non-compliant suppliers, uncovering abnormal payments, and tracking disproportionate growth in procurement, among other functionalities.

Mia Analytics, representing SAS in Israel, boasts a vast global presence with more than 83,000 organizations relying on their systems. SAS's data analytics solutions enable faster and more accurate decision-making across various industries, including finance, insurance, and government sectors.

Eli Pesach, CPA and CFO of Macbidnet, expressed the organization's commitment to technological advancement for both dental health improvements and enhanced business operations. With the implementation of the SAS system, Macbidnet aims to gain a comprehensive view of critical areas, reducing exposure to potential risks in salary management, procurement processes, revenue generation, and collections. The system's success in these areas could pave the way for further expansion into other facets of the organization.

Eitan Tomashin, CEO of Mia Analytics, emphasized the global significance of combating anomalies and risks in organizations, businesses, and government entities. He praised SAS's end-to-end solution for its capacity to continuously monitor and control operations based on artificial intelligence, thereby mitigating potential abnormal events.

As Macbidnet takes proactive steps to fortify its operational integrity and ensure sustained growth, the implementation of the advanced SAS system signifies a milestone in the convergence of dental healthcare and innovative technologies, promising a safer and more efficient future for the organization.
