Fox Launches Independent Online Store After Years of Terminal X Exclusivity

Posted on Sep 25, 2024 by Ifi Reporter

After years of selling its products online through Terminal X, the Fox Group has finally launched an independent online sales website for its flagship Fox brand. The move comes after the company had initially resisted online sales, with CEO Harel Wiesel previously stating he would not sell Fox online.

Fox began its online presence in 2017 when it partnered with Nir Horowitz to found Terminal X. Since then, the group has also introduced online stores for other brands under its umbrella, such as Llein, Nike, Fox Home, and Foot Locker, all while continuing to sell on Terminal X.

Now, after quietly launching in August, the new Fox website is fully operational and has begun promoting itself to customers. Like Terminal X, the site offers free shipping on purchases over NIS 199, with next-day delivery for orders placed by 5 p.m. However, no special pricing is currently available on the new platform, and promotions align with those found in-store.

The main advantage of Fox's independent website is the clean, focused presentation of all Fox brand items, offering a more streamlined shopping experience. However, the site lacks the option to combine purchases with non-Fox brands, a feature that remains available on Terminal X.

Terminal X continues to host a variety of brands, including Fox Group's Mango, Yanga, American Eagle, and The Children's Place, as well as independent brands like Clinique, Bobbi Brown, and The North Face. It also features international labels such as Uniqlo, Gap, and Old Navy.

In addition, Fox Group is in talks to acquire the online brand Itay Brands, valued between NIS 50-90 million, further expanding its online presence. The group has already partnered with fashion websites Sistaz and Strongpool through Terminal X.
