Israeli Food Producer RJM Launches New Tahini Brand “Mount Tabor”

Israeli food manufacturer RJM has launched a new tahini product line under the brand “Mount Tabor Tahini,” aiming to capture growing consumer demand for authentic yet refined sesame-based spreads. The company said the new line features a balanced, mildly salted profile, combining traditional tahini production techniques with advanced processing technology to deliver a smooth texture and consistent quality.

RJM said the new product was developed following an in-depth analysis of the Israeli market, where consumers are increasingly seeking products that maintain traditional flavor while meeting modern quality standards.

The company produces tahini using traditional methods enhanced by advanced manufacturing technologies, ensuring uniformity and a rich, distinctive taste.

Broad market presence in Israel and abroad

RJM operates across multiple market segments, including institutional, industrial and retail channels. The company also manufactures private-label tahini products for major retail chains in Israel.

In addition to its domestic activity, RJM exports its products internationally and recently launched a global brand, Sesa More.

Expanded product range beyond tahini

Beyond tahini, RJM produces a variety of spreads, including halva-based products and chocolate-tahini blends, reflecting a broader trend toward diversified sesame-based foods.

The company’s manufacturing facility is located in Migdal HaEmek, where it employs a diverse workforce from across Israeli society.

Operations continue amid wartime conditions

RJM said it has maintained production continuity during the ongoing conflict, emphasizing internal cooperation and operational resilience to meet market demand.

Industry analysts say such continuity highlights the role of food manufacturers in maintaining supply stability during periods of national disruption.
