Bezeq decided to cut by 50% the installation fee prices it set for the installation of fiber optics

Bezeq decided to cut by 50% the installation fee prices it set for the installation of fiber optics for customers from NIS 900 to NIS 450.
When it launched the sale of the very fast Internet infrastructure to consumers, Bezeq Female at an incredible price for installation only: NIS 900. This price does not include the monthly price that its customers pay to the provider and internet infrastructure. The invention of the term "installation fee" led to the fact that most of the market began to charge installation fees on fiber optics. In fact, Bezeq sold the installation at a 50% discount. Now the company has decided that NIS 450 will be a fixed price, but the competitors are still cheaper.

Bezeq charges an installation fee of NIS 12.5 per month for 36 months, while so far, its official price has been NIS 25 per month for 36 months. This amount joins the monthly amount that customers pay for Bezeq's fiber infrastructure: NIS 149-109 for speeds of 600 MB to 2.5 GB, including a router (NIS 19.90 per month) and installation fee (NIS 12.5 per month): NIS 214-174 per month. This price does not include the supplier price - it must be added starting at NIS 20 per month to the supplier.
Bezeq has a sale: "3 months at 50%" which has been extended until the end of 2021: for example for 1 GB: first three months at NIS 59.5 per month, months 12-4 119 NIS per month and after one year: NIS 139 per month. For 2.5 GB: up to 3 months: NIS 74.5 per month, months 12-4: NIS 149 per month and after a year: NIS 169 per month. To these prices must be added as stated installation fee of NIS 12.5 per month, router price: NIS 19.90 per month and supplier price starting at NIS 20 per month.
HOT began marketing fiber optics with an installation fee of NIS 14.90 per month for 36 months, a total of NIS 536.4. HOT also launched a launch campaign: NIS 7.5 per month for 36 months, a total of NIS 270. Recently, HOT reduced the installation fee dramatically to only NIS 49 for a one-time fee. Here, too, it is an amount charged separately from the monthly amount for infrastructure use, which stands at NIS 128.9-118.9 per month (including a hotnet provider). That is the bottom line: HOT is cheaper in installation fees, but not always cheaper than a flash in the monthly price for using the fiber infrastructure.
Unlimited also began charging installation fees following Bezeq. It backs them up from companies that market very fast internet on top of its infrastructure. Providers like Telzer charge consumers for infrastructure + provider NIS 12 per month for 36 months, a total of NIS 432 for speeds of 1 GB and 500 MB. The company calls this the "construction cost" that is paid separately from the monthly amount for infrastructure use. Those who pay it in one payment will receive a discount of NIS 32 and will pay only NIS 400. For the cost of monthly use of the Telzer infrastructure, you will pay an additional NIS 108 per month for 1 GB and after a year: NIS 129 per month. You can rent a router for NIS 15 per month: another cost. Total: 12 + 108 + 15 = NIS 135 per month.
Expon charges NIS 350 for installation of high-speed Internet on the Unlimited infrastructure, or "free of charge" for renters of a modem router for NIS 19 per month instead of NIS 10 per month. That is 9 shekels a month for installation.
Expon's monthly prices on the Infrastructure Unlimited infrastructure + provider: for 1 gigabyte, NIS 119 per month (3-1 months for NIS 59). At 600 megabytes, it charges NIS 109 per month.
The last to join the installation fee collection trend was Cellcom, which began charging an installation fee of NIS 360 about a month ago. It collects the amount (NIS 10 per month for 36 months) from Cellcom Fiber customers as well as Bezeq's fiber infrastructure customers, which it markets as part of the wholesale market.
The cost of using Cellcom's fiber infrastructure (infrastructure + provider) is NIS 124 per month for a speed of 600 MB in fiber optics (its or Bezeq's) or NIS 114 per month by joining through the website. For 1 gigabyte, it charges NIS 144 per month or NIS 134 per month by joining through the site. So far Cellcom has informed customers that the price of the package includes: installation fees, Internet provider and fiber and router infrastructure (other companies charge money for a router separately). Now, 10 shekels a month must be added to these prices for installation.
