Nice acquired ContactEngine from the United Kingdom, for an undisclosed amount

NICE, which develops software systems for managing customer service centers and preventing financial fraud, acquired ContactEngine from the United Kingdom, for an undisclosed amount.
ContactEngine, which employs several dozen people, develops software systems for proactive communication based on artificial intelligence between organizations such as communications companies, insurance companies and shipping companies and their customers.
ContactEngine's system enables organizations to proactively and through bots, communicate with their customers through digital channels of their choice to enhance the customer experience, streamline the interaction between the organization's and customer service personnel, and reduce the need to recruit staff to customer service centers.

The company's software initiates a dialogue with the customer, receives data from him, and clarifies and coordinates with him in advance requirements and needs in a way that reduces the friction between the customer and the service person. The software reduces by 20% the number of home visits that do not end to customer satisfaction or are unnecessary in the first place.
Nice estimates that it acquired the English company before its breakthrough, and having gained significant customers in the UK and Europe in the last 18 months. Among its customers - 7 of the 10 largest telecommunications companies in Europe in the US, and large insurance and forwarding companies.
The acquisition of ConactEngine joins the acquisition of Brand Embassy in May 2019. Another transaction made by NICE in the digital field is the acquisition of the American MindTouch in April 2021.
