There were power outages across the country yesterday, due to the heat load. Residents in various parts of the country reported that they have not had electricity for several days and that they are suffering from malfunctions during these days of heavy heat.
Residents of Holon and Rishon Lezion reported repeated power outages in the city. The electricity company responded: "The rare and unusual heat load has in recent days led to a break in the peak of electricity consumption and many incidents resulting from the heat wave. The company's employees and managers are on the ground around the clock Transformers and fuses).
"The duration of treatment for injuries is long and in some cases can be long. The heat load causes the phenomenon of repeated malfunctions and this is also dealt with by the company's staff.
"In many Arab communities in the Galilee and the Negev, we are witnessing disruptions as a result of hundreds of pirated connections that cause the network to collapse, and each operation after hours of rehabilitation renews the damage. We apologize to our customers for the inconvenience and work to increase vulnerability."
