Shiba Hospital, which handles thousands of people every day, now allows its patients to contact the customer service center through the popular WhatsApp instant messaging software as part of its extensive digital transformation process, and based on Elad Systems' SimpleChat implementation.
The hospital allows outpatient clinics to communicate with the various centers through the WhatsApp. Customer Service Callers can contact and correspond with a human or auto service representative (ChatBOT) and avoid having to wait for the representative, fax documents, ask questions or make appointments - all done via a secure and fast WhatsApp call. Shiba is the first public hospital to start providing these services on WhatsApp.
The new solution significantly shortens waiting time for service, makes most of the information and activities available 24 hours a day, facilitates document transfer and sets a new standard for the public medical service system in Israel. Since the soft launch of the service in September, the volume of WhatsApp referrals has risen from week to week. Today, 20 percent of calls with the call center are made through the messaging app. It is also evident that Shiba customers adopt the use of the additional channel in an intuitive and easy way.
Noa Perster VP of Economics, Control, Budgeting and Medical Administration at Sheba: "Installing WhatsApp in the hospital's service system will allow us to route up to 50% of the calls currently received to digital channels and will be able to receive documents and provide information in one chat call. 3000 phone calls every day so service and efficiency improvements are significant for both parties.
Shimi Ernst, CIO and digital transformation manager at Sheba: "We invest heavily in digital transformation to provide advanced service and care standards. Computing infrastructures at the medical center are constantly upgraded and enabled to enable advanced services such as WhatsApp, patient app and medical services. We will continue to lead a line of progress for the benefit of medicine and research and for the benefit of millions of our patients. "
SimpleChat, a multi-channel product developed by Elad Systems, allows service centers to concentrate all referrals - whether via phone, email, SMS, WhatsApp, Messenger, etc. - into a single Microsoft Dynamics CRM system that provides a 360-degree view About the client and his treatment.
