Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was rushed to Sheba Hospital - Tel Hashomer on Sunday night after experiencing a severe health scare. Hila Elroy of News 13 reported that Netanyahu felt unwell and dizzy, prompting him to activate a monitoring device that had been recently placed on him. Contrary to his initial statement, the device did not beep; instead, it was activated by Netanyahu himself, revealing a critical 12-second arrhythmia that put his life in danger.

In a video message recorded before his medical procedure, Netanyahu confirmed that the monitoring device alerted him to the urgent need for a pacemaker. He acknowledged that he felt well but chose to heed his doctors' advice. The Prime Minister expressed hope for a successful agreement in ongoing discussions with his colleagues and reassured the public that he expected a swift recovery.

Sheba Hospital medical professionals, under the guidance of Prof. Roeirat and Prof. Eyal Nof, performed the implantation of the pacemaker. The procedure was conducted successfully and without complications, according to an official statement from the hospital. Netanyahu is currently recovering in the cardiology department and is expected to be released later today.

This recent health incident is not the first for the Israeli Prime Minister. Approximately a week ago, Netanyahu was previously admitted to Sheba Tel Hashomer Hospital when he lost consciousness at home and collapsed. He attributed the incident to dehydration at the time, but hospital records indicated that he remained under cardiology observation. Subsequent cardiology tests, including an EPS test with a catheter and the implantation of a heart rate monitor (ILR), were conducted. Netanyahu's office initially reported that the test results were normal, but his doctors later disclosed a disturbance in the EKG that led to the subsequent invasive test.

Prime Minister Netanyahu expressed his gratitude to the public for their prayers and to the medical staff at Sheba Hospital who provided him with exceptional care during this challenging time. He stated that he felt excellent and would resume his legislative duties in the Knesset following his release.

As the nation awaits his recovery, the focus remains on the continuation of the legislative agenda and any potential agreements with colleagues. The health and well-being of Prime Minister Netanyahu are of utmost concern to the nation, and updates on his condition will be closely monitored by the public and media alike.
